The Goat Locker

Engineering Firm Websites • Minden, NV

Project Overview:

The Goat Locker is a manufacturing and automation design firm specializing in CAD design, rapid prototyping and end-of-arm tooling. A company that prides itself in creating solutions from scratch, not stock, The Goat Locker was looking for a company that could transform their brand and website into something strikingly unique and custom-built. ONE MARK fit the bill.

We chose the logo as our starting point, focusing on “Bill the Goat”, the official mascot of the United States Navy. Due to the mysterious company name, we needed something more than just the Navy mascot, so we formed a silhouette of the top view of an end mill, which would be recognized in the manufacturing industry, then placed the goat icon in the middle.

We built a bold, minimalist website, including plenty of interactivity and interest as users navigate through the site. The loading screen includes the end mill icon rotating as the goat icon stays in place. We built a unique side navigation that conceals the menu options until you click the menu icon, giving the entire site a clean, uncrowded look. Due to the 3D nature of their work, we built seemingly “flat” buttons that pop out of the page when you hover over them.
